Itinerary
Day 1: PICKUP--TRANSFER GANGTOK
Pick up from the Airport/Railway Station (5hrs/128kms/in a rental vehicle) Meet and greet at the Airport/NJP Railway Station after which the journey commences- transfer to Gangtok , the capital of Sikkim Duration: 5hrs Distance: 128kms to Gangtok (5,500ft.) Overnight stay at Gangtok
Day 2: TSOMGOU LAKE BABA MANDIR TOUR
AFTER BREAKFAST start our trip to Tsomgo Lake and its nearby attractions. Tsomgou Lake (12,400ft) and 34kms from Gangtok It takes normally 3hrs to reach from Gangtok. The lake is 1 km long, oval in shape and 50ft deep. Here you can witness snow, snowfall (if you’re lucky) & Yak Riding. Visit to the legendary Baba Mandir(13,200 ft) & Nathula Pass(14,400 ft) (The Indo-China border) depends upon the availability of permit which costs an additional of Rs3000 per vehicle (Monday and Tuesday the pass is closed). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 3: GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING TOUR- PELLING TRANSFER
Half day sightseeing in Gangtok and visit nearby 7 attractions POINTS like Ropeway. Do-Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Sunday Closed) & Flower Show (Orchid). Drive towards Pelling (7,200 ft, 115 km).Overnight stay at Pelling hotel.
Day 4: PELLING FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING TOUR
After breakfast start for a full day sightseeing. Visit Darap Village, Rimbi Water Falls, Rimbi Power Project, Rock Garden, Kanchenjunga falls, Khechopari Lake (it is one of the sacred Buddhist lake and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true). Back to hotel for lunch. After lunch visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Palace Ruins, Singshore bridge,Dentam valley. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 5: PELLING-DARJEELING TRANSFER
After breakfast drive to Darjeeling (7,200ft, 115 kms) from Pelling for the final leg of the tour. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 6: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Early Morning (at around 4 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak) (subject to clear weather). On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasay Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple (4hrs from 9.00 to 13.00hrs). Evening free for shopping and personal activities. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 7: AIRPORT/RLY STATION BACK
Drop to Bagdogra Airport / NJP railway station according to the schedule. Tour Ends WITH SWEET MEORIES.
