Day 1: Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and transfer to Darjeeling
Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus (Junction) & Transfer to Darjeeling - Our representative will be there to receive the Guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) - He will assist guest for the forwarding journey to Darjeeling (100 Kilometers, 3 hours) – Situated at an elevation of 2123 meters / 70001 feet, the land of breathtaking beauty, amidst rolling tea gardens, crowned by the majestic Himalayas – This international destination is popularly known as the Queen of the hills - Jewel in the crown of the Eastern Himalayas with mesmerizing beauty offers spectacular views of the Mount Everest, Mount Kanchendzonga and the rest of spectacular Himalayan range - Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is one more attraction – Reach Darjeeling and check into the hotel - In the evening one is free to stroll around Mall / local market - Over night stay at Darjeeling
Day 2: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
At about 4:00 AM drive to Tiger Hills, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, War Memorial – Back to hotel for breakfast and next - Tenzing Rock, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Lebong Race course, Ropeway, Gorkha Stadium, Gorkha handicraft, Tibetans Refugee center, Tea garden - lunch at hotel or on the way - Japanese Peace Pagoda, Natural History Museum, Ava Art Gallery, Lal Kothi, rock garden and Ganga Maiya Park bare sightseeing spot and can be visited as per the days program – Sightseeing places are dynamically set depending upon the road condition and time factors – it is not possible to visit all the places but the important ones are covered for the satisfaction of guest – Evening free to roam around the any of the hundred nurseries or the Local market area - Overnight stay at Darjeeling
Day 3: Excursion to Mirik
Early morning breakfast – Next start for the 32 kilometers drive via Nepal border to Mirik – It’s a two hours drive - Mirik is a quiet town between Siliguri and Darjeeling - It is known for its secluded charm, Beautiful Tea Gardens, Samendu Lake, Orange Orchards, Cardamom Plantation and its pleasant Climate - The drive is scenic and so is the place both attracts tourist in hordes – Halt at Seemana for view for viewing of Mount Kanchendzonga - Activity like boating in the lake is also in the card for guest - On the way visit Pashupati Market in Nepal - Drive back to Darjeeling nearly 32 kilometers and 1 ½ - 2 hour’s drive - Back to Hotel – Late evening free to stroll around Mall or visit some of the pub, Eateries, studio or bakery with cafeteria – Night halt at Darjeeling
Day 4: Ropeway & Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Joy Ride & Tea Garden Visit (Optional)
Darjeeling Ropeway is also known as Rangeet Valley Cable Car due to view of the valley around the river Little Rangeet - Boarding at Singamari which is some 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) from Darjeeling Chowk Bazaar - It is 45 minutes ride at an altitude of about 7000 feet (or 2134 meters) down to 800 feet (or 244 meters) at Singla Bazar - Joy Ride on in Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) can be enjoyed from Darjeeling to Ghum and back and it also includes free entry to DHR museum at Ghum Station - One can visit nearby Tea Estate / Garden - Factory visit can also be arranged if planned in advance with supplement cost - Back to Hotel – Late evening free to stroll around Mall or visit some of the pub, Eateries, studio or bakery with cafeteria – Night halt at Darjeeling
Day 5: Departure to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP)
Drive to Siliguri, on the way to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) (120 kilometers, 2 ½ - 3 hours) - Morning breakfast - After breakfast transfer to It’s a two hours drive - Mirik is a quiet town between Siliguri and Darjeeling noted for its secluded charm, Beautiful Tea Gardens, Samendu Lake, Orange Orchards, Cardamom Plantation and its pleasant Climate – Halt at Seemana for view Or Via Kuseong with Stoppage at Kuseong Tourist Lodge for Refreshmment - One can also Visit Makaibari Tea Estate to observe Tea Processing (Optiona) – One will travel through the best Tea estate of the world – Drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) /Siliguri - Guest are advised to start early and not to rush - Forwarding Journey
